I welcome you to an intimate Sound Journey. Our ritual afternoon and practice invites us to enter the Cave of the Heart.
What and who do we allow inside our most sacred harbor?
What inner thought frequencies do we hold and allow to cultivate?
Held by sound and a ceremonial container, we welcome rest in inquiry and deep listening, revealing inner wisdom and emotional intelligence. Our practice will open with breath work and guided meditation, then feature a ceremonial soundscape of etherial mantra, Tibetan singing bowls, medicine melodies, shruti, gong, world, and shamanic instruments. This beautiful restorative practice induces deep states of relaxation and circulates blocked energy — allowing for insight and integration. Sound Immersion is a powerful form of meditation, opening us to new possibilities of rest, resilience, and life vision.
There will be 8 floor space for lying down, a couch, and reclining chair and seated meditation space available. Bring a yoga/camping mat, blanket, meditation cushion... what will make you comfortable. I’ll have a few extra blankets and mats. Remember warm layers for when the body temperature drops during deep rest.
Emerging from our journey, you are welcome to stay quiet, connect with others, or explore the sound tools and medicine wares for sale. Cypress will have available a curated selection of Himalayan singing bowls and Indigenous jewelry, pipes, and tapestries from Peruvian and Columbia tribes. Singing bowls are hand-pounded from Nepal, newer 20th Century to semi-antique bowls 80-120 years old.
