The Frequency of Peace || Sound Meditation with Singing Bowls on the Body

  • Franciscan Manor Sanctuary San Rafael, CA (map)

Join me for a small group/semi-private sound experience exploring Peace as a frequency. This ceremony offers an intimate and personalized deep dive into ritual and sound meditation, within a private group of six.

We'll explore how we might touch and cultivate peace, as a distinct resonance within ourselves. Our ceremony will weave meditation and breathing, deep listening, and sonic dreamscapes. Live soundscapes will feature an unusual array of instruments and transporting vocals, including mantra, medicine melodies, Nepalese singing bowls, shruti, chacapa, wave drum, medicine frame drum, gong, chimes and other world and shamanic instruments. Expect an uncommon blend of dynamic musicality, healing resonance, and enrapturing melody. Curated musical progressions provide an improvisational framework designed to anchor the personal and collective journey. We'll open with ritual and intention, journey with breath and sound, then seal our circle with integration and reflection.

You'll receive personal attention, bathed in sound, in close proximity to the voice and instruments moving around you, and singing bowls placed on your body.

Bring any items from your altar and a journal.

Bring layers, and your yoga/camping mat, pillow, blanket and any other comforts.

Post event, you can explore a curated selection of Sound and Ceremonial Tools for sale, including hand-pounded Napalese Singing Bowls, plus Indigenous rattles, hand-painted wave drums, ceremonial beadwork, jewelry, hape, and karipes in collaboration with native artisans from Peru, Brazil and Columbia.

This is a unique opportunity to receive individual attention, and deepen your exploration of meditation, ritual, sound, and presence (at a fraction of the cost $150 off).
